How much should you spend?

Don't underestimate the value of a high cost event - it is more likely to have been tailor made to suit your company and will be relevant. Rewarded staff will lead to increased motivation and greater loyalty to your company. 

For example a smaller event i.e. event outings could cost, dependant on numbers, a few hundred pounds.

Larger events for more people i.e. a weekend sailing event followed by evening entertainment can run into thousands of pounds.  

Getting people together can encourage them to develop a common understanding, so it will be of value. Follow through the event if you can. Take what you have learnt back into the workplace, then you will have obtained full value for your money.
