(orienteering)
 A popular teambuilding exercise
is the navigation challenge. This entails teams of participants using a
detailed map of the surrounding area, and a compass, to locate a series
of marked points in the landscape.
The game can be played on
a variety of levels, from a casual stroll through the woodlands, to a
heated race with competitors battling to find all the points in the
fastest time.
Your team will need to
study their map and plan the most effective individual strategy for
their team members to find all the points in the fastest possible time,
so they will have to correctly assign duties between their members,
enabling strengths and weaknesses to be identified
and task allocation skills to be honed.
Participants can choose to
work individually or together to find the best result for their team.
Navigation challenges are
